For those who have always wanted to try abseiling but have been hesitant due to the height of typical abseil sites or fear of exposure, this experience is the perfect starting point.

Join us at the magnificent Mount Buffalo Gorge for an introduction to the art of abseiling on a fun and achievable 8-metre cliff.

This abseil site is located close to the main lookouts at the Gorge Precinct car park and offers great opportunities for spectators and photos. The abseil is very accessible and features stunning views.

Our experienced leaders will guide you through the safety procedures and systems to ensure you feel confident and ready to enjoy the thrill of abseiling.

You’ll receive professional coaching, supportive supervision, and plenty of encouragement to help you overcome your fears and experience what may be your very first abseil.

• What's Included: All necessary equipment, including ropes, helmets, harnesses, and climbing gear, is provided. You will abseil with one of our experienced leaders, who will coach you and ensure your safety as you "learn the ropes".
• Meeting Place: The Gorge day visit car park (Below the old Mount Buffalo Chalet) near the Stone picnic Hut
• What to Bring/Wear: 

-Top with a neck that can tuck in (no short tops)

-Long trousers are advisable

-Rubber-soled shoes (Runners or bushwalking boots)

-Sunscreen and water

-Appropriate clothing for the weather
