Canyoning at Mount Buffalo. After abseiling into Burston's Crevasse canyon on a 40 metre descent we squeeze through caves, descend crevasses, rock climb a steel wire ladder and much more.. A great full-day adventure with a range of activities that include all the challenges of the half day adventure plus a 40 metre abseil into the Crevasse. if you are looking for an amazing full-day challenge this is for you.


  • Days: Available all year, weather conditions permitting. Selected weekends, school holidays or by arrangement
  • Times: Normally, the activities runs from 9am in the mornings or 1pm in the afternoons
  • Location: Mount Buffalo National Park
  • Age Guide: A wonderful family adventure. Suitable for people with a moderate level of fitness. Children age 12+ are welcome to participate. Children participants must be accompanied by a participating adult.
  • Price Guide: $250pp for advertised adventures, or book a private tour with us (minimum 6 people).
  • What's Included: All ropes, helmets, harnesses and safety equipment is provided. You will canyon with two of our experienced guides, who will coach you and ensure your safety on your adventure.
  • Meeting Place: Mount Buffalo Gorge Carpark, near Stone Hut
  • What to Bring/Wear: 

-Top with a neck which can tuck in (no short tops)

-Long trousers are advisable

-Rubber-soled shoes (Runners or bushwalking boots)

-Sunscreen, water, lunch and snacks

-Appropriate clothing for the weather

- Personal items, eg. Personal medication
