You will learn the same skills as for the 1.5hrs ski lesson and then practice these skills out on the trails. Your ski instructor will provide coaching and tuition throughout the tour, which will help you improve your ski technique.

- Location: Cresta Valley (Meet at Cresta Valley Carpark near the Horn Road Closed sign)
- Best for: Beginners and families, recommended minimum age 7
- Price: $155pp
- Equipment: Your XC skis, boots and poles must be hired before you arrive (see the end of page). We have no hire facilities on the mountain.
*Children under 12 must be accompanied on the tour by a paying participating adult.
Not all ski hire shops have cross-country skis. The hire shops listed below are the only businesses we know of in the region that currently stock XC skis, boots and poles for rental. Remember to allow enough time to have your boots and skis properly fitted before you travel up the mountain for your lesson or tour.
